Perfect Couple’s Getaway Spot! This hotel has a classic retro beach vibe. The location is great and we loved the daily chalkboard full of daily events and fun facts. The Blue Hen was our favorite place for cocktails on the patio each night before dinner! We also enjoyed the lobby happy hours and warm chocolate chip cookies on our way back in from a night out.
The shuttle service to the beach was a bonus and Lou was a charming tour guide. All in all, we loved our stay at the Avenue and will be back!Lynn S7/25/2024What an amazing experience! It gives you a feel of the Florida of bygone days, elegant with so many amenities. The wine and cheese served at 5 was so nice to visit with other patrons. Lovely breakfast, beautiful pool area. - Enjoyable Time. We liked the lobby and the area with the coffee/tea center. Our room overlooked the pool, which we didn't get a chance to use. We liked that you could see the ocean from our room and was only steps from the boardwalk. We also thought having a screen door was nice. - Very nice stay at the Inn This was a great place to stay; I highly recommend. Loved the ambience/decor (including the poochies), the great breakfasts, wine & cheese, our room on the pool, great access to the beach. Staff were super nice/friendly. Room was clean and just perfect for our needs. We came to view a big launch at Kennedy Space Center and also visit Universal Studios, but wanted a place close to the beach. Great family vacation spot for our group. Everyone was able to find a room that was right for their needs. Pool is nice, beach is close, and the hotel is close to restaurants and landmark sites. - Another fantastic stay Had a great stay at the Avenue. The room was very clean and spacious for me and my husband. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Wilmington Avenue . Comfortable countersize adirondack chairs on the balcony which were great to relax after arrival and have a drink after the long drive.
The room was a good size and bed was comfortable. You cannot beat the location of the hotel and proximity to boardwalk, beach and restaurants. There are plenty of amenities ( ev chargers, all day refreshments, shuttle to beach, cookies, etc). The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony and a view of the ocean. The Inn is elegant with beautiful furniture, calm music and splashing fountains. A highlight of our visit was the two dogs, Lilly and Lucy. We loved those beautiful animals.
We will tell all our friends about the Inn and will return to our new home and friends in the future.

Service, cleanliness, facilities (in general and notably including bed comfort and temperature in the room) and location were top notch. Even an error on the final bill was corrected quickly. Amenities were great (complimentary chairs for beach, afternoon wine and cheese & evening cookies) and the hotel quiet. All for a very reasonable price. We will definitely come back.
As stated above, the couch was not very comfortable. I did mention to the front desk staff that the breakfast was VERY disappointing. The only minor issue is that the elevator I used frequently is a bit slow, and taking the stairs is quicker option. Our favorite began having elevator problems so we gave Surfside a try. Its our new favorite! First of all the breakfast buffet is the BEST. Pool has a 8 foot deep end. Pool chairs have cushions. Fishing Trip This was our first time staying at Surfside and we will definitely book with them again. Friendly staff, very clean and their breakfast was quality. We used all of the amenities including the provided beach chairs and towels. Loved the location as well. Look forward to staying again in the near future.

Birthday vacation Enjoyed the area,,,,,shops, dining, beach view, staff was helpful and friendly. Lighthouses ,piers, and horses on the beach were great to visit and see. First family trip to Mags Head This was a awesome stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was and stayed clean our entire time. The breakfast that was served was hot and fresh. They engaged us with smiles and was willing to helps us with attractions to see and restaurants to dine at. This was our first trip to Nags Head and at this property I would highly recommend this hotel great quality for your money you do get what you pay for here and then some. The Inn at Cocoa Beach- Great people, Relaxing atmosphere Cocoa Beach on it's own is a very laid back beach town which we LOVED! This property is very well maintained for it's age and style. The rooms are so close to the beach and the pool was perfect. We had what seemed like the perfect spot on the grounds. We were in a walkout king room with sliding doors right near the pool. - Perfect for couples We stayed here two nights after previously staying at larger hotels in Cocoa Beach. We liked that you could easily walk on the beach easily, and had a nicer feel to it.

- Clean, welcoming, quiet. We couldn’t of asked for more out of our stay. The staff was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The lady up front upgraded us to the honey moon suite and WOW is all I can say about that room. We definitely will be back to the Inn! It was super clean as well, and the room service every day was just a plus.Ashley G4/29/2021Sheer Relaxation in Luxury If you are looking for a boutique hotel with ocean views, spacious rooms that are fresh and comfortable, then this is where you should stay. Due to COVID they couldn’t serve their normal breakfast but instead served up deliciously large muffins and lots of fresh bananas, apples and oranges. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all requests.

- Great Stay on the Beach This little gem of a hotel is great. It's right on the beach and close to quite a few restaurants. Very relaxing as We didn't even move our car for our 3 day trip. There was a bit of noise on one weekend night from guests talking loudly in the hallway, but that's not the hotel's fault. - The Perfect Location for Delaware beaches You can't beat this location. The view from the sundeck is perfect and it's so nice to be able to walk right out to the beach. Easy walk to the Rehoboth boardwalk too. Only things I didn't love were the stiff mattress and the walls are a little thin - these were both minor to me though and didn't really impact my stay all that much. - Quaint Cute Beach Hotel My mom and I stopped here on the end of a week long road trip. We absolutely loved this hotel! It was such a quaint hotel in a fabulous area. You are in walking distance of the beach boardwalk. The home is beautiful and is located close to the beach, the boardwalk, and so many other fun activities. - Long Weekend Visit This group of cottages have been wonderfully renovated with the latest in materials and to great detail. We came for a long weekend and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. We could walk to the beach which was lovely, the boardwalk also was a short walk away, and a few blocks to the Avenue made getting everywhere a breeze. All the amenities of home were there- towels, blankets, etc. so we didn’t need to bring anything but ourselves. The front porch was a favorite- relaxing listening to the ocean waves, playing family games at night. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing beach getaway.CHRISTINA H11/01/2021Clean, close to everything and nice amenities The cottages are great. We stayed in a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage. It is small but has everything you need. Its close to the beach and boardwalk, (about 6 houses away) and you can walk to all the restaurants. The cottage was clean and the little touches like having soap, towels, beach towels, chairs, etc was great. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. Steph, the "innkeeper" was awesome, made us feel welcome and communication with her was great.k r10/01/2021
