Enjoyed our 3 day weekend! We had a very pleasant 3 night stay this past weekend. The inn is located in a great spot and it was evident that The Avenue values its guests by providing extra touches such as(wine & cheese socials, milk & cookies, breakfast, board games (with all the pieces) and even umbrellas at the front door. Wonderful get-away Everyone was very pleasant, attentive, and eager to assist with our needs. Room was very well appointed, clean, and well taken care of. Room service was excellent and had no complaints. Have stayed here many times and last was October 2025 and will return . Wonderful hotel in Rehoboth Beach Love staying here in the off season when prices are much more reasonable. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the beach. Also appreciate the cleanliness and tasteful decoration of the rooms; beds are quite comfortable, and appreciate the small amenities such as wine and cheese in the evenings and cookies. Also is the below ground parking garage and the clean luggage carts.

A wonderful getaway Once again, we had a very comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable stay at Avenue Inn. This was our fourth stay and we hope to have many more. The staff, Randi, Brett, Michael, John et al were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and bright with a very cozy bed, the breakfast (included) was delicious, wine and cheese a pleasant late afternoon snack, with cookies in the evening a great wind down. The location is perfect for shopping, walks on the boards, bicycling to the outlets and eateries.

Fall trip Free indoor parking. The location was only about 1 block from the Boardwalk. I'm 77 years old and it was nice to be able to walk to everything. Also the free breakfast and wine tasting in the afternoon was a nice touch. The free cookies and milk at night was also something nice to have'.

Great hotel w/ great benefits! Our stay at the Avenue Inn was great! Even though we were not in the main hotel, the rooms were just as high quality. I received a pre-visit call from the manager to confirm everything, which I thought was a nice touch. The check-in process was smooth. There was street noise, but that was to be expected. The breakfast options were great and proximity to everything was ideal. Definitely recommend this hotel to visitors coming to Rehoboth Beach for business, pleasure, or a nice get away.

A Very Nice Hotel The pictures online didn't do it justice. It was beautifully decorated for Fall and Halloween. Nice restaurant on-site, a really nice gym, a lovely sitting room with a fire and outdoor seating with firepit out front. Breakfast left a little to be desired- the pre-made omelets were cold but, overall, lovely and comfortable.

Lots of beach accommodations feel a little sad and weird after summer ends, but the Avenue Inn has created such a warm, cozy atmosphere that its compelling no matter what the temperature is outside. The rooms are clean and spacious, but equally important, there are warmly lit and comfortable common spaces for sitting, chatting, reading, playing games. Additionally, they offer an outstanding breakfast, wine and cheese in the early evening and cookies at the end of the night.

Excellent place to stay. The location is easy walking to beach or be shuttled there with your complimentary beach chairs I have been going to Rehoboth beach since a I was a young child. I have never stayed at the Avenue Inn. This time we stayed there for a friend’s wedding. The service was excellent as well as what the hotel offers to make you beach stay so easy. I would highly recommend it and would stay again. It is a perfect hotel for off season beach stay. Indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. The spa is great as well.

Highly recommended place to stay while in Rehoboth Beach Always an excellent and convenient place to stay in Rehoboth Beach. They have beach chairs & towels that you can borrow and even though it is very walkable to the beach, Lew is always there with his cart to take you and your load to and from the beach. Great Stay! We enjoyed our recent visit. We have stayed at both the main building and at The Ave II in the past. This time we chose The Ave II. No problems, we knew ahead that there was no elevator, but the pricing and size of the room more than made up for that. Our only suggestion would be to put a few hooks in the bathroom & outside the bathroom door. Would be very helpful to be able to hang our robe/clothing when changing, showering.

Cozy hotel in downtown Rehobeth Beach! We have stayed at the Avenue Inn a few times and have always enjoyed our stay. My daughter loved the pillows, I loved the wine and cheese and think it's an elegant touch to the afternoon. My husband enjoys the location and not having to drive around. Our room was cozy and it was nice to decompress when we were done with the beach, shopping and other activities. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and friendly. We will be back again!!

Checks all the boxes Everything at The Avenue Inn & Spa was top notch from the venue itself to the staff and beyond. It is located both close enough for beach and boardwalk access as well as to the Main Street vendors. There personal touch is not ignored at The Avenue and we greatly appreciated that. Lew gave us buggy rides to the beach and made our daughter feel so special by letting her sit in the front seat with him, and giving her a few extra seashells from the beach! We love the Avenue Room service in 213 wasn’t dependable. Last Tuesday maid didn’t give us clean glasses or tissue which was empty. On Weds she didn’t clean our room at the agreed upon time.
Breakfast buffet warm items need more diversity. We had scrambled eggs or omelettes with sausage 4 days in a row. Maybe bacon or ham would be good also.

Fall trip Great place to stay. Very clean with a decent breakfast and friendly staff. Centrally located for restaurants and shopping so you never need to move your vehicle. Transport to the boardwalk and beach provided by golf cart with a friendly driver. This was our third stay at the Avenue. Highly recommend!

Anniversary trip Beautifully kept hotel. Staff is very friendly and makes their guests feel special. Only negative is parking is limited and spots can be tight, especially with SUVs and pickups. We personally had no issues, but our car is smaller

A Great experience The rooms and service were impeccable. Top notch service. I accidentally booked a room for one night instead of two nights, and the staff accommodated us with another room. We had a couples massage and that was an amazing experience. The staff are very friendly. It's a bit pricy, but what you get in return is worth every dollar!!

Avenue Inn is a luxurious experience! The Avenue Inn did not disappoint! From the Lobby to the breakfast to the pool and sundeck and the wine & cheese and cookies and beach tram with complimentary chairs and towels, it was the total experience. Hotel staff couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. From pleasantries to small requests, everyone was happy and eager to assist. 2025 Rehoboth Vacation The Avenue Inn is always a great place to stay at Rehoboth Beach. It offers great amenities (a spa, evening wine & cheese, covered parking) all within walking distance of the beach. But walking is totally optional as they provide a free golf cart shuttle too and from the beach, along with towels and beach chairs. The hotel is clean, and the service exceptional. My family has been staying at the Avenue Inn for more than 25 years. We have already booked for next year!!!

Best Property at the Best Beach You simply cannot beat the location and added amenities this property has to offer.
Just the rides to and from the beach with chairs and beach towels puts it over the top!
Being able to arrive before check-in to enjoy the beach early, enjoying wine & cheese in the afternoon, milk & cookies in the evening, delicious breakfast included in the morning & the indoor pool and hot tub are amazing bonuses. The beds are super comfortable!

housekeeping always does a terrific job. Wine and cheese nightly is always a nightly treat. Breakfast in the morning is a bright spot to start the day and don't forget the cookie at nigt. Of course this could be 2 cookies per guest instead of one but one can not have everything. Lou is always there with a smile to take you back and forth to the beach. I guess staying here for the last 19 years says it all about how this hotel is. Book early.

A gem to enjoy visiting Wonderful on the Avenue Inn and Spa. Traveling with wife, 2 sons, and a daughter. We all found the accommodations wonderful. Wine and cheese hour was very inviting. First stay and didn’t want to leave We loved our stay, the scent in the halls was lovely along with the well done beach decor. We appreciated the extras like the parking setup for arrival/departure as well as wine and cheese hour and the coffee bar. Off season trip We had a great time in a beautiful space that was walkable to attractions, restaurants, and shops. An awesome stay!! Loved the location of this hotel in Dewey. The beach was just steps away and we could use the provided chairs. Easy to walk to get something to eat or shopping.
Really enjoyed the breakfasts, happy hour, and evening treats by the fire pits .

Dewey Beach Vacation It was our first trip to Dewey Beach and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The staff was friendly, the renovation to the hotel was top notch(congrats to the contractor), breakfast in the morning, beer and wine tasting at 5, cookies and brownies at 8. What else could you ask for? The entire facility was kept immaculate and the manager was there to insure it was kept that way. The private parking and roof deck were also nice touches. My wife and I will definitely return for another stay.

Atlantic View is still the best hotel in the DELMARVA area! The recent renovation at Atlantic View has updated the facility to a higher level. The rooms seem more open and the bathrooms are larger. The pool area has been given a privacy fence and better security with more seating outside and fire pits. The lobby area now contains more seating for breakfast (important for HOT days) and the beer tap is awesome for their 5pm social time. We have been coming to Atlantic View for 20+ years and this refresh of the rooms and hotel just added another 20+ years to our plan. Great job!

Great Stay at Atlantic View Hotel! My husband and I came down for a babymoon/birthday trip. This hotel had everything we wanted, brekfast, parking, pool and right on the beach. They provided extra perks too - happy hour at 5:00pm with beer, wine, non-alcoholic options as well as a snack, and then a late night snack in the evenings after 8:00pm. It was absolutely perfect. I strongly believe we will be back in the future as a family of 3.

The hotel itself was a modern and tastefully decorated, with a clean and comfortable room that felt like a true retreat. We loved the pool area – it was a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. A huge plus was the hotel's thoughtful amenity of providing beach chairs and towels, which saved us a lot of hassle. Right on the beach The renovation is beautiful. The atmosphere is bright and youthful, and the design changes make the best of available space. Everything you need for your beachfront vacation! Very clean, comfortable and cozy! Beach chairs and beach towels available to guests free so you don't have to lug them back and forth to your car and you start with a fresh clean towel daily. The towels in the room are top notch and the room and bathroom are squeaky clean. Great breakfast in the morning and homemade cookies at night too! 18 Years Visiting Atlantic View! Another successful visit to Dewey Beach! Wonderful experience - will definitely return! My husband and I took a mid-week mini vacation to catch a show at the Bottle & Cork. We originally chose the Atlantic View Hotel because it would be a close walk to/from the concert, but it ended up being so much more! We loved our ocean front room with a private balcony and great view. THe staff were friendly, there's free parking, clearn and comfortable room, nice pool, and other nice amenities like a wine & cheese hour each evening. We will definitely be staying again!

Great Experience and a Super Helpful Host Our first in the time Rehoboth area, we couldn’t be happier with the Atlantic View . Sweet Relaxation Perfect jumping off station for beachside relaxing or walking either beaches or roadways of Dewey and Rehoboth Beach. Easy access to Cape Henlopen for fun, biking or light hiking, and exploration. Clean, quiet and a beautiful view of the growing natural scenery overlooking the beaches. Wine, cheese, crackers supply a light predinner snack accompanied by camaraderie with guests. Chocolate chip cookies as a bedtime snack is a sweet reward. Great price, right on the beach! Very clean room and very comfortable bed. This comes with free hot breakfast (mini quiches, fresh muffins, yogurt, etc). Warm cookies at 8 pm. Also, wine and cheese and crackers at 5 pm but we didn't attend. This hotel is right on the beach. The room was only $94 plus tax ($104). Had a great stay and a great price!

Another great stay My mom and I have been staying at the Atlantic View for the last 10+ years and it never disappoints. Clean, friendly staff, and daily breakfast, happy hour, and warm cookies. The rooms are average size for a beach hotel, the only thing is you can easily hear every step the person above you is taking - but you can’t hear inbetween the walls, so that’s a plus The location is perfect! Great service and a nice hotel My wife and I stayed at the Atlantic View Hotel at this time last year and loved it. The staff was very friendly and the room with ocean view fantastic.

This year, we had to cancel at the last moment due to a death in the family. The management sent a thoughtful condolence, refunded our deposit and did not charge any cancellation fees.

Weekend Away Had a lovely stay at the Atlantic View Hotel. Arrived on a Friday evening while the complimentary wine, cheese and crackers were being laid out. Great way to relax from a long drive. The room was clean and welcoming. Clean linens. Firm pillows. Plenty of towels. Mary and Beth at the Front Desk provided a good hot breakfast. The breakfast burritos were great. Don't Worry. Be Happy. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a wedding we attended at the Lighthouse Event Center. Prices are very reasonable and location is great. This is a smaller hotel but that is not a bad thing, I feel it was a positive, as the staff was very personable and attentive. The rooms were clean and well kept, we had no complaints. This was our first time at Dewey Beach and we had great experience all around. We are considering making another trip in the near future and will be staying at the Atlantic View when we do.

Great family vacation at Cooper Cottages We stayed (family and friends) for a week in Cooper Cottage #20 and it was heavenly! Perfect location, steps from the beach and a short walk to downtown Rehoboth. The hosts spared no details-the entire cottage was comfortably furnished and the kitchen fully outfitted to cook meals. Adorable cottage in an ideal location My family of 4 stayed in cottage 11 over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The location is ideal - just a block from the beach and a short walk to Rehoboth's main drag with shops and restaurants. The decor in lovely in all of these cottages. It's also wonderful not to have to pack towels and bedding as those were waiting for us. The kitchen is small but well-equipped. This would be my first choice of places to stay when we return to Rehoboth.

Couldn’t Be Happier! I booked this house for a girls trip and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations! The home is beautiful and is located close to the beach, the boardwalk, and so many other fun activities. The home had everything from linens to dishware and beach chairs and a beach cart were included with the rental. After seeing that we were celebrating a special event, the host even brought bottles of sparkling wine over, which was incredibly thoughtful. If you are considering booking for a Rehoboth beach trip, this place is a no-brainer!

Long Weekend Visit This group of cottages have been wonderfully renovated with the latest in materials and to great detail. We came for a long weekend and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with towels, sheets, soaps and shampoo. And if you wanted to cook every appliance and utensil you would need was present. Perfect! The cottage was amazing! Perfect for our family of 4. Kitchen was fully stocked- made breakfast each morning. We could walk to the beach which was lovely, the boardwalk also was a short walk away, and a few blocks to the Avenue made getting everywhere a breeze. All the amenities of home were there- towels, blankets, etc. so we didn’t need to bring anything but ourselves. The front porch was a favorite- relaxing listening to the ocean waves, playing family games at night. Its close to the beach and boardwalk, (about 6 houses away) and you can walk to all the restaurants. The most comfortable chairs on the balcony — tall chairs so us short people can see over the railing while sitting down 🙂 The Happy Hour and chocolate chip cookies every evening were an added bonus! Wonderful Just got back from staying here a week. This was our first time and loved everything about this hotel. Rooms were very clean and the view was great! Still family friendly and great beach We've been staying at Surf Side Hotel off/on since they opened in the 1980s. Each trip, whether in a condo or room, is clean, nicely decorated and beautiful views. If you're on the 4th floor, you get sound and ocean views! The breakfast is delicious, served by friendly staff and selections vary daily. Part of the fun staying there happens when afternoon cocktails (included in the price) and warm cookies are served because so many guests mingle.

Great support crew Only our 2nd day and everything is great! I do need to give a shout out to the caretakers Dylan and James - I noticed a broken anchor flange at the pool surround that had a sharp edge which could cut a bare foot. Not sure which showed up for routine maintenance, but he took care of the safety issue first. Great work!

Wonderful 2nd visit I wrote a review April last year that you could plan a whole trip around this hotel and here we are a year later doing just that. We came back to Nags Head for the experience of staying at SurfSide again and are so glad we did. It is such a wonderful get away. We especially enjoy breakfast, the wine social hour, cookies and popcorn, location on the beach, indoor pool and spa, I could go on and on.

There is a lot to do in the surrounding area as well.

Surf Side Sanctuary Wonderful little hotel right on the beach. Friendly and thoughtful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and special touches like a complementary daily breakfast buffet that is both satisfying and tasty, freshly popped popcorn in the afternoon, and cookies in the evening. We love that we can walk the beach at sunrise and appreciate the complementary beach chairs. This is a great place for a long weekend of unwinding and re-energizing.

Don’t look any further, this is the place to stay! This was the cutest most cozy place we’ve ever stayed at. My husband surprised me with a birthday getaway and couldn’t have picked a better place. Good spot ! I have gone to this hotel in the winter several times. It is very convenient, inexpensive, and clean. The bed’s mattress was just right, and bedding included a super comfy comforter. You get oceanside or soundside views, and even soundside, you can peek at the ocean because of the angle of the building. Sunsets. Nice staff.

A wonderful place to stay. The Surf Side is a wonderful place to stay located near Kill Devil Hills, the Pea Island wildlife refuge and Manteo attractions. The hotel is clean and well managed. We enjoyed the birding as we drove south along the Outer Banks. Meals at the Blue Moon Grill and the Captain's Table were very good. On our way back traveling west we stopped at the Pungo Lake area to see thousands of Tundra Swans grazing on the areas grain fields. We will be back.

Off-Season Gem On our southward processional, we needed a place to stop and the Surf Side popped up as a option for us about where we needed to stop for the night.

Off-season in Nags Head is quiet, but The Surf Side was fully staffed, squeaky clean and great place to lay our heads for the night.

They laid out a full, hot breakfast in the morning that set us up for the day.

Adults Only We love this place, close to the beach and quiet. But it should be noted that it is adults only, no children under 18. It feels more like a B&B than a hotel. Free parking, and you can watch launches from the Cape from your balcony. Breakfast is hot and made to order.

Charming, Beautiful and Relaxing This is a charming hotel that reminds me more of a high end BNB. The rooms are furnished beautifully. It gives you a feel of the Florida of bygone days, elegant with so many amenities. The wine and cheese served at 5 was so nice to visit with other patrons. Lovely breakfast, beautiful pool area. The Inn at Cocoa Beach—a lovely retreat! We stayed in a recently updated room. It was large and airy with lovely furnishings, and the bathroom was beautiful, but only a shower. They offer yummy sweet tea and fresh baked cookies all afternoon, a delicious fresh cooked continental breakfast as well as furnished Happy Hour every evening, it was truly “the quiet place” they advertised to be! A wonderful getaway. All the staff were very gracious and welcoming!!

Wonderful stay at Inn at Cocoa Beach Our stay at the Inn was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony and a view of the ocean. The Inn is elegant with beautiful furniture, calm music and splashing fountains. A highlight of our visit was the two dogs, Lilly and Lucy. We loved those beautiful animals.

Perfect Honeymoon Destination We spent the first part of our honeymoon here and had an incredible time! Our room was quiet and we loved the bed and breakfast feel, the beach chairs and quiet pool (and close proximity to the beach) made for us having plenty to do, and the wine and cheese social was a hit. This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of several bars, restaurants, and shops so it's easy for travelers without cars. Would stay here again for sure. Also, the staff was incredibly kind and made our honeymoon one we will never forget.

We came back! We had stayed at The Inn At Cocoa Beach once before and my husband requested that we go back for his birthday. The rooms are very comfortable and there are so many quiet places to sit and enjoy the facility plus we had access to the beach right out the back (keyed) gate. The grounds are well kept and the Inn is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We were lucky enough to be here for see two rocket launches, one from the beach across the parking lot and the second right from our balcony. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Fantastic Beach Getaway! My wife and I spent 4 days at The Inn at Cocoa Beach for our anniversary. The pool room we had was awesome! The hotel is very clean and staff was accommodating and friendly! This place is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel! Breakfast is included every day and was fresh, and delicious! They also have a wine and cheese hour every evening! Although wine isn’t my thing, my wife loved it! Just steps from the beach, it’s a great location! We were very pleased and will definitely be going back!

Great people, Relaxing atmosphere Cocoa Beach on it's own is a very laid back beach town which we LOVED! This property is very well maintained for it's age and style. The rooms are so close to the beach and the pool was perfect. We had what seemed like the perfect spot on the grounds. We were in a walkout king room with sliding doors right near the pool. Everyone was very helpful and nice and it was at a perfect spot on the coastline.

The team members are all so friendly The Inn is clean and well kept.

The pool area is just outstanding.

Quaint, clean, a lovely experience My husband and I wanted something close to restaurants but still a quiet nice location - this was PERFECT. An amazing hotel right on the beach This was our first time here at The Inn. Check in was fast and friendly. Everything about our stay was just great. Our room was very cosy but I must say the shower/toilet area was small. The next time we stay in Cocoa Beach it will be at this same hotel. The breakfast was very good with fresh orange juice and an assortment of food. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Perfect for couples We stayed here two nights after previously staying at larger hotels in Cocoa Beach. We liked that you could easily walk on the beach easily, and had a nicer feel to it.

Relaxing bed and breakfast feel by the sea You never know what you’re going to get when you book online… I’m so happy that I read the reviews from TripAdvisor on this place and decided to stay here. I would suggest offering milk at night, when they serve the cookies. I asked but was told by the overnight Receptionist that it’s only available for breakfast. I was stunned. I actually needed it for a case of heartburn. However, that’s beside the point. The very next night, another guess asked for milk, to go with the excellent chocolate hip cookies, that are served warm, right out of the oven.

Mother/Daughter Annual Stay since 2017 Beach View is only one block away from the boardwalk and beach. You cannot beat the location. You park your car and can walk to a variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
We like the welcoming hospitality, clean rooms, free parking, use of beach chairs & beach towels, continental breakfast, afternoon wine, and warm cookies to top off the evening. They have a small pool but we prefer swimming in the ocean. We would highly recommend the Beach View Hotel!
